Hi there everyone! As promised, I’m back with more cards featuring the latest release from Concord & 9th. Today’s cards feature Book Shoppe and Bake Shoppe add-on dies for the Pop-Up Shoppe Base so you can turn them into Bake shops or Book shops – or both!
My first card features the Book Shoppe add-on. On both of my cards I wanted to show you can also use these add on die and stamp sets without the base if you wanted to. This set is so cute – it has photo frames, cats, plants, lamps and tonnnnnes of books to cut out. It has a large library shelbing unit and a step ladder to reach the top shelf!
I heat embossed in white the sentiment from the co-ordinating stamp set and popped the cat at the top of the ladder – they love climbing up high right?!
My next card features the Bake Shoppe Add-On. This time I did something a little different and created my own patterned paper background using lots of the little die cuts as well as the heart dies from a set I’ll be featuring tomorrow! I die cut and die cut and die cut then adhered them all down to a panel of C9 cardstock!
I also stamped several of the little add in hearts from tomorrow’s set, and added a few dots in white gel pen here and there to fill in the gaps. The little flowers on the mugs are from the Base Pop-Up Shoppe set.
I finished by stamping a sentiment and mounting it in the centre with foam tape after trimming off all the excess.
This card turned out pretty cool in the end and was worth all the fiddly die cutting!!! Stay tuned to tomorrow’s post for the final project with this month’s C9 release.
