I’m back for the 4th day of the new Concord & 9th December release and this is probabbbbly my favorite set in the release (wait…. did I already say that?!) Happy Rays is super CAS and super cute, of course it wouldn’t be a C9 release without a turnabout stamp and this one creates a gorgeous fan of sun rays with a circle in the centre – perfect to pair with one of the cute smiling faces of a large sentiment stamp.
I love this turnabout – it’s super versatile. I grabbed my C9 inks and used some of my favorites ink colors – I used Ballet Slipper, Honeysuckle, Grapefruit and Buttercup for the rays and they work superbly. For the centre I decided to keep this CAS and one layer. I stamped the big circular sentiment in the middle using Eggplant – I stamped it a couple of times to get it nice and crisp, but it lined up just perfectly!
To embellish, I swiped a little Stardust ink onto some white cardstock and then die cut it out with the little hearts included in the Happy Rays die set. These are the perfect heart shape to embellish all the things!
