Hi everyone!

I’ve started adding a little more to my holiday stash. My husband and daughter’s birthdays are impending and that means it will be holiday season before we know it! I used Spellbinders Small Die of the Month Kit ‘Holiday Haul’ to create today’s card – the die set features a fun little delivery truck but I wanted to create a scene with the rest of the smaller dies in the set.

To create my card, I first created the background. I was going for a snowy scene so blended some pale blue-gray ink on a panel of cardstock. I then loosely cut some ‘hills’ out of white cardstock, and adhered them along the bottom with foam tape to create snow drifts. I used foam tape to create dimension.

I die cut several of the trees out of different shades of green cardstock, and lightly blended ink in a darker green shade on the edges. I die cut out the pumkin and a few gift boxes, and added blended ink in the same way. I also die cut out the tree balls and gift bows in silver mirror cardstock and adhered them all together. I arranged all of the pieces with foam tape on my scene and trimmed off the overhanging pieces.

I adhered the panel to a white notecard, leaving a border, then added lots of white acrylic paint splatters for snow. I also added some extra bling to the trees using the Silver Mix Color Essentials gems.

The sentiment is heat embossed in Silver and is from the Clear Stamp & Die of the month called ‘Sending You’.

I love the versatility of these sets to get a completely different look changing up the dies.
