Hi everyone! I hope you’re enjoying your week and Happy Thanksgiving for those of you who celebrate! Today I have two cards to share that feature the brand new Spellbinders Fluted Classics Collection by Becca Feeken. These are gorgeous scored outline nesting dies, that can be used to add a border on a panel, or die cut out themselves with the coordinating outline die. You can also use them to foil with just like your hot foil plates, using a Glimmer machine.

For my first card, I used the Fluted Classics Rectangles, and foiled the largest die using Polished Brass Glimmer Hot Foil onto glossy white cardstock. I then die cut it out with the outline die. I also a smaller fluted frame and added a second scored area just by runnig through the die cutting machine (no foil) to create a nested but one layer look.

I used the medallion die from the Scalloped Symphony Notecard set die cut from pink cardstock, adhered with foam squares. I then also die cut LOTS of florals using the Petite Floral Potpourri Dies from pale rose cardstock, baby blue, pale gold glitter, and gold mirror cardstock. I then arranged them all over the medallion using foam squares and glue. You’ll see I also popped in a couple of white and gold glimmered leaves left over from an earlier Glimmer of the Month set.

The sentiment was die cut twice from black cardstock and stacked together. It is from the Sweet Sayings Notecard Sentiments set. I finished with lots of Fashion Gold embellishments.

My second card uses the Fluted Classics – Slimline set. This time I used the middle die and die cut a panel of white cardstock, then adhered it to a white notecard with foam tape. I used several of the left over florals and arranged on the smaller panel, and interspersed with Fashion Gold embellishments.

My sentiment was glimmered in Polished Brass on black cardstock. It is from the Heart Felt Sentiments set, with coordinating dies (love that feature!)

I love how these turned out – and especially that once you die cut a ton of florals, you can arrange them in different ways to create different looks!
