Today’s post features the May Spellbinders Glimmer of the Month Club Kit. I’ve been featuring some of the other club kits this week too. This month’s kit features lots of fun mix and match Glimmer sentiments, tiny circle dies, and circle outline hot foil plate. This plate can be repeat glimmered to create a full background, which is exactly what I did here, using Silver Matte Glimmer foil on a panel of teal cardstock.
I used the little circle die and die cut the set of six several times from matte silver glitter cardstock until I had enough pieces to adhere to every circle outline (I used 1mm thick foam squares). I adhered my panel to a white notecard.
For my focal piece, I die cut the flower and two of the leaves from the Large Die of the Month for May and stitched them with silver metallic thread. I also glimmered three of the sentiments in the Glimmer May kit and die cut them out with the coordinating banner die. I mounted them all onto my background with foam tape and glue dots, flaring the sentiment strips to appear as though they were radiating from the flower.
To finish the card, I added a few Spellbinders Fashion Silver embellishments – I thought these would be perfect given they carry on the silver circle theme!
