Hi everyone!!

I’ve waited for so long to share this pair of cards with you! It features the new Sursee from Catherine Pooler, along with the brand new Beach Retreat inks – they’re SO SCRUMMY!

All in shades of sea green and blue. Please welcome Sea Glass, Bay Breeze, Tranquil, and Cove Blue. They pair beautifully with earlier shades, and I’ve done just that in my cards today.

This month’s Sursee features these fantastic layering Damask Floral images and coordinating dies. With sets like this, I like to start with die cutting. I I die cut the three floral sized dies from CPD Premium White cardstock (the brightest white cardstock around!) several times. For each one of them I kept the negative and used that to secure the die cuts in my MISTI while I stamped each layer.

These colors go perfectly together. I stamped the larger solid areas in paler colors and. overlaid the darker colors. I did several die cuts intending to cover an entire panel, and a few spares. I arranged them over a panel of Navy cardstock and adhered with foam tape, snipping off excess on the edges.

On my second card I used the same Navy cardstock and had a few spare flowers so stacked them up in the centre.

On both cards, i used these fabulous Typed Up sentiments, die cut with the coordinating sentiment dies. On the first card I used Cove Blue to stamp the sentiment, and on the second I used Midnight, then popped up both over the cards with foam tape.

I did add gold splatters with Altenew Metallic Ink Spray, and finished with a scattering of Portland and Portsmouth sequins (I just love the ones with the holo circles like in the top right).

Don’t these look super classy in those new colors! Hope I’ve given you some crafty inspiration for your weekend!
