HI Everyone

It’s release day for the new goodies from Catherine Pooler!! There are all new products which are part of the Sunny with a side of Sparkle release, AND the Love is in the Air Stamp of Approval Collection is now available to purchase individually! WOOP.  If that wasn’t enough, there are lots of new WOW! Embossing Powders available in the shop – Sparkle indeed!  You can find links to all of the new release at the end of this post.

The Creative Team have kicked off a three day blog hop today so be sure to check it out, starting over at Catherine’s Blog.  I’ll be joining in on Friday but for today, I just couldn’t wait to show you one of the new products that has been released – Paisleys & Peacocks patterned paper!  It’s absolutely gorgeous, 80lb weight ‘paper’ (more like cardstock!) that co-ordinates beautifully with Catherine Pooler inks, and the previously released Paisleys & Peacocks stamp and die set (from the Perfect Reason collection).

My first card features a technique of using glitter paste over the top of the patterned paper which I trimmed down to 4″ x 5.5″.  I then used Bo Bunny Pink Punch Glitter Paste with the new Catherine Pooler Designs Twisted Sunburst stencil over the top. When dry I adhered it to a white 110lb Neenah Solar White cardbase.

The peacock was stamped on Catherine Pooler Premium White cardstock using Party Dress and Aquatini CP inks, die cut with the co-ordinating dies and popped up with foam tape and liquid glue onto the dried panel. The sentiment is from the CPD You Did It set and was stamped in Versafine Onyx Black ink and trimmed at at an angle, adhered with a double layer of foam tape.  For an extra bit of sparkle, I embellished with Nuvo Glitter Drops in Ruby Slippers and Aquatic Mist.

For my second card, I used the Peacock paper which I think is my absolute fave.  I wanted to ensure it took centre stage on the card, so to embellish it I die cut the CPD Perfect Vines dies from CPD Vellum and adhered with liquid adhesive and clear foam tape. The sentiment is from Everyday Mod and was stamped in CP ink in Lime Rickey and Party Dress, trimmed and popped up on foam tape.  In order to hid the adhesive behind the vellum, I added a scattering of Pretty Pink Posh Springtime Mix sequins.

You can find links to the full release and the supplies I used for the cards I created below.   Be sure to join in the Blog Hop and I’ll see you very soon with more inspiration from this release!
