Hi Everyone!
The team are having a blog hop today to continue providing you with inspiration for the latest Winter release from Catherine Pooler. There is a giveaway for commenting so head on over to Catherine’s blog to hop. I’m not part of the blog hop today, but I couldn’t resist popping by with a card I created using the Snowy Day release.
For this card I went all gold and I think I just about pulled it off. To create my card, I used the Geometric Snowflakes coverplate die and die cut a piece of gold mirror card stock. I only ran it through my die cutting machine once and kept all the pieces inside the coverplate. It’s simple enough to pop any that fall out back in again. I adhered the piece to a white notecard with lots of double sided adhesive to ensure they didn’t fall out.
I stamped the Peaceful Snowflakes stamps onto Catherine Pooler Premium White cardstock in Versamark ink and heat embossed them with WOW! Gold embossing powder. I then die cut them out with the co-ordinating dies and adhered them to the coverplate die cut with liquid adhesive.
I heat embossed the Joy from the stamp set in the same embossing powder onto Midnight black cardstock and then fussy cut it out. As a finishing touch I scattered some CPD Vegas Baby sequins for MORE gold. I hope you like it – very blinged out wintery card!
