Hi Everyone!

I’m so excited to be joining you today as part of the countdown to Reverse Confetti’s newest release. Reverse Confetti is releasing 4 new stamp sets AND 7 (COUNT EM!) new Confetti Cuts die sets.

Today is Day 1 and there are three days of preview peeks before the full blog hop later this week when the release goes live on January 8th! You can see the full list of blog hops for peeks at the end of this post. And of course there is a giveaway so stay tuned!

Today we are featuring the Words of Love stamp set. This is a great set with lots of lovely sentiments in a great outline block font.

When words are the focus of a card, I love to make a pattern or background using color. This time I went with rainbows! On a panel of white cardstock I stamped all of the sentiments one by one, line by line, in rainbow colors, with two lines per color.

I then went in and filled in all the gaps with the XOXOXO sentiment with the corresponding color. I splattered with black ink and then matted on black cardstock.

Don’t you love the ‘Big Love’ Confetti Cuts?! I created this by die-cutting the bottom, wider layer from white cardstock, then the top layer and the smaller heart from black cardstock. I adhered them together and mounted to the rainbow panel with foam squares. To add that shine, I coated the black pieces with Clear Wink of Stella, and then Nuvo Crystal Glaze. It dries to a lovely shiny almost enameled sentiment!
