Hi everyone! It’s time for the brand new release from Reverse Confetti which is now LIVE! Hurray!! Today’s blog hop is features a boatload of design inspiration for you to drink in with your eyes while you wait for the gorgeousness to land in your mailbox!

I created two very different cards today but they were both really fun to create – both feature alcohol markers, but with a very different appraoch! For my first card, I first die cut a panel of white cardstock using the new Folklore Cover Panel. I ink blended a purple ink up from the base into the centre, and then added a touch of black ink along the bottom. I then adhered to a white notecard.

I stamped the main image from the Wildflowers stamp set in Permanent Black ink which was alcohol marker friendly and then colored it in using yellows, teals and purples alcohol markers. I die cut them out using the coordinating die and adhered them to the die cut panel with foam tape.

I die cut the new Layered Friend Confetti Cuts die from Vellum and white cardstock, then colored in the top layer with the same yellow alcohol ink markers. I added some gold Wink of Stella over the top then adhered to the vellum and mounted onto the cover panel. I added some Nuvo Crystal Glaze to give the die-cut a glossy look. The sub-sentiment is stamped in black ink to match the floral outline, and is from the new A Beautiful Day stamp set.

I finished with a few matte gold sequins.

For my second card, I stamped the bunch of roses from the Roses stamp set set several times in black ink on a panel of white cardstock, trying to get them as close together as possible. I then die cut out using the frame outline from the coordinating Roses Confetti Cuts. Rather than coloring in the roses, I thought it would be fun to stamp a color sentiment over the top and then color the negative.

I used the All You Need stamp set for my sentiment which is free with a purchase! I stamped it with my Misti using a pale pink, blended on the stamp with a hot pink and then the hot pink blended with a purple, stamped directly over the black outlines. They still peep through!

I decided to color the negative with a black Copic marke, everywhere except the colored ink is. I really like the effect this gives, and it really helps the sentiment stand out. I finished with a few splatters of Rose Gold Tsukineko Shimmer Spray. The card is a shaped card, using that same frame die to die cut out the folded card base below before adhering my stamped panel over the top.
