I’m part of a fun blog hop today providing more project inspiration featuring the recently released Spellbinders Limited Edition All Aboard Christmas Card Kit!
This kit has all sorts of goodies in it, plenty to create a plethora of cards to send friends or family during the holidays! My card has a vintage feel, and features only items in the kit!
To create my card, I trimmed a panel of cardstock featuring watercolored holly leaves and adhered to a panel of cardstock. I wrapped a length of the string in the kit several times around the panel and then adhered it at the back, before backing onto a note card with foam tape.
I pulled out the ‘filled with joy’ tag which matched the paper, and tied it to the string with a little more string, creating a bow at the front. To keep the tag in place, I added a few foam squares to the back (and to add dimension).
I splattered a little gold metallic ink spray onto the panel, and then adhered a few of the cute enamel dots, that have little flecks of gold in them. A chipboard sentiment overlaid on the tag, and a couple of chipboard corner pieces finished my card!
