Hi Everyone!

It’s that awesome time again when we celebrate a brand new release from Pinkfresh Studio with a blog hop packed full of inspiration showcasing the new goodies. There is of course a big giveaway, so stay tuned for details as well as the next stops on today’s hop.

I’m focusing both of my projects today on the gorgeous new Fancy Oval Frame. My first features almost all new products from the November 2020 release, and is BRIGHT! To create it, I first created a gradiated wash with Pinkfresh’ Liquid Watercolors in Sunshine and Bubblegum, letting them blend together in the centre – I’m using coldpress watercolor cardstock. I then die cut the panel when dry using the new Stitches die, which creates a beautiful texture similar to the panels on the side of sewing machines that show all the different stitches – isn’t it cool! It also comes in a slimline die too.

I die cut the Fancy Oval Frame from more coldpress cardstock and added the same liquid watercolors onto the frame, then adhered it to the background panel with thin foam tape. I used lots and lots of the gorgeous Essentials: Jewels to encrust the frame all around the outer edge.

I created my own custom cardstock by swiping Raspberry Bliss ink onto white cardstock, and then used it to heat emboss a sentiment in gold (the sentiment is from Incredibly Grateful from the October 2020 slimline release) which I popped up on foam tape in the centre. I also die cut the fun fan shape twice from the Essentials: Fillable Gift Card Holder from the same custom pink cardstock and adhered it with liquid glue around the sentiment. I popped the entire card panel onto a cardbase.

My next card uses a background from the October slimline release paired with the Fancy Oval Frame. I used the custom pink cardstock to cut the frame, and I also die cut it several more times from 110lb white cardstock which I adhered together to create a stack. I sandwiched a panel of acetate between the pink frame and the stack then adhered them together and set aside.

My background is created by first heat embossing the You Are Amazing stamp in gold embossing powder. I then ink blended Sapphire, Storm, Slumber and Licorice over the top to create an ombre look and trimmed it out, leaving a border to create a 4.25″ x 9.25″ card base.

I used clear, pink and pale blue Essentials: Crystals and added them into the centre of the panel and placed the pink oval frame over the top. with thin foam tape, capturing all of the crystals to create a shaker. To finish, I added more gold heat embossed sentiments from the custom Raspberry Bliss ink cardstock (again from the Incredibly Grateful stamp set) to finish.
