Hi Everyone!

It’s time for a new release from Reverse Confetti! We are celebrating the new release with a blog hop. You should have arrived here from Olga’s blog. The full hop list can be found at the end of this post.

I have two cards to share today. They both have a super fun vibe perfect for a tween’s birthday with the same color scheme – I was inspired by the colors in the fun foam I used in my first card, and matched it with inks in my collection on my second card.

For my first card, I’m featuring the Celebrate Tag Confetti Cuts. I die cut the lower layer from silver matte cardstock, and three different colors of fun foam – yellow, blue and. lime green, then adhered them altogether. This creates a fabulous three. dimension shape that has colored layers at the side, that you can just see peeping out when looking from above.

I die cut the top level layers from black glossy cardstock (from Erin Lee Creative) and adhered the entire piece to a white note card splattered with black ink.

To finish, I added some Silver adhesive dots.

For my second card, I used Have Your Cake stamp set and coordinating dies. I matched the colors of the fun foam, and used inks in my collection (Catherine Pooler Designs Limoncello, Lime Rickey and Aquatini). I stamped each of the layers in one of the colors, as well as some of the drops of icing. I also stamped the outlines in black ink, and the candles. I then cut them out with the coordinating Confetti Cuts.

I also stamped some of the embellishment layers on the cake slices with embossing ink and heat embossed them with Platinum embossing powder. I arranged the slices and the candles onto a panel of white cardstock with foam tape, which I die cut with the Along the Dotted Lines Cover Plate (from the March release) splattered with black ink.

The sentiment is from the new release – from the HOORAY stamp set, which is FREE with your qualifying order and you add it to your cart!!! It was heat embossed in white on black cardstock then I trimmed it in half and mounted it at a jaunty angle. I finished with a few more of the silver dots to embellish.

Your next stop on the hop is the awesome Amy! The full list is below.
