Hi everyone! I’m excited to share with you some more of my Spellbinders Glimmer projects, this time created with the brand new Stylish Script Collection released today!
The sentiments are such fun, I especially love the I Love You More Than Chocolate one! I used Matte Gold Glimmer foil on white for my first card and I almost left it as was – the gorgeous letter press look with the matte gold is just beautiful.
In the end I opted to add some inlaid die cutting. I die cut a large rose die from the Spellbinders June Large Die of the Month (2018) club four times – twice from matte gold cardstock and twice from Spellbinders FSJ Watermelon Fusion cardstock.
I arranged Watermelon frames. around the sentiment and then used liquid adhesive to pop in the gold pieces. This took a lot of time but I think it was worth it in the end – do you?
For my next card, I used the I’m Here For You sentiment, foiled in Magenta Glimmer foil onto FSJ Bubblegum cardstock. I then die cut it with a floral frame die from the April 2018 Large Die of the Month (sorry these are a little older but they’re some of my faves!). I also die cut some of the extra florals from Whip Cream cardstock.
For my card base, I die cut a panel of FSJ Denim Days trimmed to 4″ x 5.25″ with an Essential Labels Nestabilities die. I then overlaid my sentiment panel, and popped the white flowers over the top with foam squares.
I love how those dots from the Essential Labels allow the white card base I mounted the panel on to peep through. As a finishing touch, I added some Nuvo Drops to the flower centers.
My final card uses the Today! Celebrate You sentiment, foiled in Silver Glimmer foil onto Cranberry Bliss cardstock. It contrasts beautifully.
I used a Spellbinders trellis style frame die from my stash to die cut it out then mounted it with foam adhesive to a white card base.
I added some glitter diecuts from a Spellbinders card kit with foam tape, and then as a finishing touch, some silver sequins and Nuvo Drops to finish.
I’ve linked to the new release below. I know I keep saying but you really need a Glimmer, they’re so much fun!
