Hi Everyone!

I’m back today with two more cards that I created using the Catherine Pooler Designs latest Club Sursee. They both use simple coloring on the florals in both Copic and pencils.

For my first card, I used the Roses dies, both small and large, and die cut them both several times from white cardstock and adhered them directly onto a white notecard. This gives the look of a dry embossed panel!

For my centrepiece, I stamped the roses branch twice in Catherine Pooler Rouge ink, colored with Copics and then arranged in a wreath shape.

To hold the shape of the wreath, I adhered them to a circle die cut from white cardstock which I heat embossed the sentiment on with WOW! Metallic Rich Pale Gold embossing powder first. I then popped the entire piece onto my die cut ‘faux dry embossed’ piece. As a finishing touch I added some Nuvo Crystal Drops in orange.

I decided to use my circle die again for my second card. This time I used it to cut some masking paper and adhered it to a kraft A2 panel of cardstock.

I then stamped out the flowers from the Sursee stamp set in black ink and the branches in Catherine Pooler Over Coffee ink, overlapping them on the masked circle. Once I finished stamping I removed the circle and was left with a masked circle! I heat embossed the ‘You’ sentiment in WOW! Opaque Bright White in the centre.

I used my Faber Castell Polychromos to color in the images, which blend really well on kraft cardstock. I also added some white gel pen on the berries. I heat embossed the ‘Thank’ on black cardstock in white embossing powder and popped it up on foam tape over the You. As a finishing touch I added some Catherine Pooler sequins from Phoenix and Springfield (CP sequins are some of the best out there!) and mounted it onto a notecard.

I still have one more card to share using the latest Club Sursee so be sure to check back in later this week!

Jenny
