Hi Everyone!
Have you all managed to get your hands on the new release from Catherine Pooler Designs yet? It’s an amazing one right? So many beautiful images to color. I’m always drawn to the big momma dies – like coverplates – and this release has some beauties – check out this Interlocked die! So cool.
To create my cards I used very similar supplies, focusing on the Interlocked die. I first die cut it from scrap white cardstock and used it as a stencil by overlaying it onto CPD Premium White cardstock and spritzing with some Lindy’s Stamp Gang team and Heidi Swapp Color Shine Gold spray. I then lifted it off and dried the panel.
I die cut the Interlocked die again from gold mirror cardstock (save the pieces for the second card!) and adhered it to the panel, rotated slightly so that the white area could also be seen. I adhered the panel to a white notecard. The sentiment was stamped in Midnight ink onto the panel directly.
For my second card, I die cut the Interlocked die from another piece of card spritzed with the same sprays. I adhered it to a white notecard off the edge. I then inlaid the pieces saved from the first card with liquid adhesive.
The sentiment is from the Awesome & Wonderful stamp set and was heat embossed in white on CPD Smoke and Mirrors card stock and trimmed out. I then popped it up on foam tape.
I like the simplicity of these cards. With such intricate and large dies, you can really keep the rest of it pretty simple!
