Hi Everyone!
I hope you’re all having a relaxing and fun weekend. Anyone make it to the beach or sailing? Catherine’s latest Unsinkable collection is nautical inspired and I have a few more cards to share with you that I created with it.

My first card features the Hook, Line and Sinker stamp and die set, and the Shell Parade stencil from the new collection. To create the card, I first stamped the little crab 10 times in the following ink colours: Suede Shoes, It’s A Boy, and Juniper Mist onto Premium White cardstock and die cut them out. I then arranged them in a circle using a frame circle die (hidden behind the crabs) and adhered them with foam tape.

For my background, I used the Shell Parade stencil, and ink blended the same three inks over the top in a ombre design, light to dark. Before I removed the stencil, I spritzed it with Sparkle Shimmer Spray (by Tsukineko). When dry, I adhered it to a notecard, and popped the circle of crabs on top. My sentiment is from the same stamp set, heat embossed in WOW! Bright White embossing powder on grey cardstock and popped up on foam tape. As a finishing touch, I added a scattering of the new Big Sur sequins!

For my next card, I’m featuring the new Salt & Seaweed patterned paper, and the Refuse to Sink stamp and die set.

I first swept Juniper Mist all over a piece of cardstock to create my own custom colored cardstock, then die cut it with the large Tag from Tags, Etc. I also die cut some of the patterned paper with the same die, and one of the smaller dies from the Fitted Frames dies. I then adhered them together and mounted onto a white note card at an angle with foam tape.

I stamped the anchor from Refuse to Sink in It’s a Boy, and die cut it out. I also stamped the rope image and the I Love You from Hook Line and Sinker in Green Tea, and die cut them out. You can wrap the rope around the anchor really easily as shown in the image – I did that and popped the whole piece, along with the sentiment onto the tag. As a finishing touch I . added some more Big Sur sequins, some brass rustic twine, and also a couple of brass brads either side of the sentiment.

My final card you may have seen a sneak peek of on my Instagram already. It features Refuse to Sink, and the Ship’s Wheel die. I first trimmed down some of the waves patterned paper from the new collection and adhered it to a white card base, leaving a small border.

I stamped the anchor from Refuse to Sink in Suede Shoes and die cut it out. I also stamped the sentiment in WOW! embossing ink and heat embossed it WOW! Opaque Bright White embossing powder onto grey cardstock, and die cut it out.

I also die cut out the Ship’s Wheel. This is a really cool die that also impresses into the image to leave an almost wooden texture on it. To bring out that texture a little more, I ink blended It’s a Boy and Juniper Mist around the edges. I added a little of the Sparkle Shimmer Spray for good measure.

To put my card together I adhered the wheel directly to the patterned paper, then layered the anchor and the sentiment with foam tape directly over the top of the wheel. As a finishing touch I added some twine and some more of the Big Sur sequins. You’ll notice I also created some lined envelopes to co-ordinate – I used Catherine’s White Envelopes and the Envelope Liner die. I’ve linked to the new Collection and all of the extra supplies I used down below!
