Hi Everyone!
It’s Thursday and that means its time to remind you that there is still a week to play along with us at Time Out Challenges. This challenge has a Breast Cancer Awareness and Friendship theme. Make sure you ladies check yourselves!
For my card, I used the GORGEOUS Needlework Motif set by Altenew which I chose to watercolor in pink for Breast Cancer Awareness. The images in this are intricate so I heat embossed it in superfine embossing powder (WOW! White Pearl) onto coldpress watercolor cardstock. I watercolored the image with light and dark pink brush pens by Arteza – I really like these pens they’re similar to Zig Real Brush markers, although a little less fine tipped. I also added a layer of clear Wink of Stella over the main florals. I then die cut them out with co-ordinating dies.
On a panel of watecolor cardstock die cut with a stitched rectangle die I added some black spatters (mix a little water into Midnight black ink by Catherine Pooler and flick onto the panel) and some co-ordinating pink spatters (scribble the brush marker onto a craft mat and add a little water). When dry, I adhered it onto a white Neenah Solar White 110lb card base with foam tape. I adhered the die cut floral with foam squares over the top. The sentiment was heat embossed in WOW! Superfine Bright White onto a scrap of black cardstock and adhered with a foam strip. As a finishing touch, I adhered some Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear confetti.
Be sure to pop on over to the Time Out Challenges blog, and don’t miss our Guest Designer Marieke and her blog – so much cuteness! If you link up a card, you could be in with a chance to win $25 to spend with our sponsor CAS-ual Fridays Stamps !

This is is beautiful and soft Jenny, Love the soft colouring and the touch of dimension x
Your white embossed flower looks just amazing. Wonderful watercoloring… So soft and delicate!
Elegant, feminine and lovely, Jenny … the contrast of the black splatters with the soft pinks is gorgeous! Hugs, Anita 🙂
This is absolutely GLORIOUS, Jenny. I am sorry it took me so long to come by and say so. Things are a little out of control at the moment. The softness of the color on the floral design juxtaposed with the black sentiment banner and the splatters is fantastic. I really, really love this!
