Hi Everyone

The All That Jazz release is now available from Catherine Pooler Designs!  I’ve got a card for you today using the Leaf Motifs stampset, Doin the Polka background and the Wonderful die from the new release.  It also features the new Sand Dunes cardstock which is a great rustic feeling kraft cardstock – see the close ups below to see the fab texture-effect it has.

To create the card, I inked up the Doin’ the Polka background stamp with Garden Party ink by Catherine Pooler. and stamped it on a panel of CP Premium White cardstock, trimmed down to 4″ x 5.25″.   I took another panel the same size and rubbed the ink pad over the cardstock to create my own custom colored cardstock. After leaving it for a few minutes to dry, I used my scoreboard to score lines in the cardstock.  I added a spatter of gold mist by Heidi Swapp.  I adhered the dotted panel down to a Sand Dunes card panel of 4.25″ x 5.5″ with glue runner, and then popped the scored piece on top with foam tape for dimension, with a small strip of gold mirror cardstock along the bottom to cover up the ‘seam’.

To create the leaves, I stamped three of the images from the Leaf Motifs stamp set in Versamark onto cold press cardstock, and heat embossed in white embossing powder.  I then did some simple watercoloring with a waterbrush and CP inks in Sauna, Mandarin Spice, Shea Butter and Tiki Torch, first doing a wash in the lighter color, then dropping the darker orange color into the base and pushing it to blend.  I then fussy cut out the leaves and popped them up on foam tape.

The wonderful sentiment was created by adhering three Sand Dues diecuts of the Wonderful die stacked together and adhered to the leaf cluster/base with liquid adhesive and foam tape (to ensure the sentiment was level).  To finish, I masked off the sentiment from the Grateful Heart set and stamped ‘You Are’ in Garden Party onto white cardstock, trimmed it out and popped it up on foam tape -super dimension!  The entire panel was adhered down to a Neenah Solar White 110lb cardbase.

Hope you like it!! I’ll be back soon with more!

Jenny x
