Hello! I bet you weren’t expecting an Altenew hop today! Altenew has a special release featuring brand new Artist Alcohol Marker sets including alcohol ink refills, and a fun set of Whimsical Flower Bunch coloring sheets! I’m particularly excited as they are releasing the marker set of my favorite ink colors – woohoo! I just had to use the set featuring my favorite color – the Space Garden set – on one of the coloring sheets. This page that has a quote by Maya Angelou really called out to me, and while I had to trim it down for an A2 size card, I think it works perfectly!
I colored in the flowers using the Artists Markers, and also added the illusion of dimension with a gray outline. I added some highlights with white gel pen for extra ‘pop’.
Even though this is a pre-printed sheet, I also added embellishments like I would with a stamped card. I added splatters with Antique Gold and Soft Lilac Metallic Shimmer Ink Sprays. I also added a few Satin Gold Sequins before mounting the panel onto a white notecard.
