Hi Everyone!
I’m so happy to be joining Reverse Confetti today on their mini release hop featuring two new cover panel confetti cuts, and co-ordinating scripty sentiment stamp sets! Stay tuned to the end of this post for the next stop on the hop.
My first card features the new Floral Chain Cover Panel Confetti Cut. This cuts out the frame and then separately a number of flower petals you can add over the top to create a floral chain across the panel, with a perfect amount of space for the scripty sentiments.
I die cut the main part of the frame from teal cardstock and added a little dark grey ink around the edges for some depth then mounted it onto a white note card using thin foam strips. I added the entire card into MISTI and aligned one of the Reverse Confetti Scripty Sentiments which I stamped in black ink.
I die cut several of the petals from mirror gold and white cardstock, and adhered them in layers in place across the panel using liquid glue and thin foam squares. For the white pieces, I gave them a little dimension first by rolling them with a large ball embossing stylus in the palm of my hand first (it creates a little white ‘cup’ almost). I added a few metallic gold spray splatters, blue gems, and gold enamel dots to finish.
My second card features the Hello Daisy Cover Panel Confetti Cuts. I created a fun watercolor wash by blending pink, purple and teal in a wash on a panel, let it dry then added some water splatters, then let it dry again. I then die cut it out with the cover panel. I also used the scrap left over from the centre to die cut the Hello which has little flowers in it, and several of the loose flowers.
I die cut the Hello again and the separate flowers from gold mirror cardstock. I adhered them onto the matching spaces with liquid glue, and adhered the watercolor flowers onto the gold Hello. I matted the Hello onto the watercolor Hello with foam strips, slightly offset to create a shadow look.
I put the card together by adding foam strips to the back of the frame, and the Hello and adhering them to a landscape note card. I finished it by splattering it with gold metallic spray and some pink, purple and gold gems and dots.
That’s it from me! I hope I inspired you to get creative with your cover panels! Your next stop on the hop is Candice Fisher!
