So now onto my cards! I’m using the Catherine Pooler Designs Perfect Blend stamp and WOW! Metallic Platinum embossing powder to create two cards. I have also created a video to show you how I created them! You can access it here or over on my YouTube channel:

For my first card, I blended Rose Petals and Sugared Lavender Catherine Pooler inks up from the bottom of a panel of Bristol Smooth cardstock (awesome for ink blending), fading out towards the top. I then overlaid the CPD Rose Stencil over the top and blended Stone Blue ink over the entire panel. Before removing the stencil, I spritzed Sheer Shimmer Spray in Sparkle over the top.

I stamped the cup image from the Perfect Blend set three times onto white cardstock in Stone Blue, Sugared Lavender and Rose Petals, and then die cut them with the co-ordinating dies. I also stamped the tops (the coffee) in Over Coffee ink (but of course!) I then used the accent images from the set to embellish the cups. I used WOW! embossing ink and heat embossed them onto the cups in Regular Platinum. I then popped them up on foam tape onto the card base. I added some hearts and coffee steam in Over Coffee, as well as the matching sentiment. As a final touch, I added some Catherine Pooler Aspen sequins to add a little more sparkle!

My next card uses largely the same supplies but in a different way – I created a background with the coffee bean images, stamped in Over Coffee and also Sand Castle inks. I popped the panel onto a white card base.

For the coffee pot, I stamped it ombre style using Rose Petals and Sugared Lavender inks, then die cut it out with the co-ordinating die. I stamped the cup itself in WOW! embossing ink and heat embossed in WOW! Metallic Platinum Regular – I repeated this three times, and on the third time, I pushed one of the small stamp images into the still warm embossing powder. I held it while it cooled for a few seconds then removed it – it leaves a fun imprint!

I cut out the cup and arranged it with the pot with a stamped heat wave in Over Coffee to look like it was pouring out liquid. The sentiment was stamped in Versafine Onyx black ink and I added some more Aspen sequins!

Hope you like them! Love that embossing imprint technique!
