Hi Everyone!

I’m super excited to be joining a host of guest designers today to showcase the brand new release from Pigment Craft Co. And it’s a a huggge release, full of gorgeous sentiments, cover plates, builder stamps and fall goodness! There is a hop over on Instagram where you can be in with a chance to win GC to grab yourself some of these amazing goodies. Head on over there to take part. My blog post below gives a little more detail on how I created the cards I’m showing today.

My first card features the gorgeous Fall Floral stamp builder set, coordinating dies and stencil for the main focal image. I wanted to keep things soft so chose a color palette of soft pinks, lilacs and blue-grays. The inks are all from Catherine Pooler Designs (Rose Petals, Pink Champagne, Cove Blue, Serenade and Sangria). I stamped out the flowers, interchangign the ink colors, and then added the additional coloring with the stencil. I also blended the blue around the edges of the leaves to soften the white white border. I then die cut it out with the coodinating die. For builder stamps like this, it can be easier to die cut first then pop the die cut in the MISTI and stamp out your images.

I also stamped and die cut the main sentiment. The sub-sentiment is from Split Sentiments: Autumn from the new release.

For the background, I used the Latte Heart stencil which is a layering stencil you can use alone or together. I ink blended the hearts first in pink and then different colors for the latte ‘steam’, shifting the stencil down the panel to repeat. I then trimmed down the panel. to 3.75″ x 5 ” and mounted onto a notecard, popping. the sentiments and main floral onto the panel with foam and trimming off the excess. A few enamel dots finished the card.

My second card features the fab Sweater Weather stamp and die set. This is a super fun set, which has dies that can add stitching to these cute little sweaters! I also like the layering you can add. I used my MISTI to stamp the main part of the sweater using Pink Champagne and Sangria, to. create an ombre look. I dried the image, and then. heat embossed the heart and zig zag pattern using Sparkling Snow embossing powder by WOW! I actually added two layers for extra sparkle. I added the outlines in black ink then die cut out with the coordinating die.

The main sentiment is from Sweater Season Sentiments, stamped in Sangria and die cut with the coordinating die. For my. background, I used the Tile Pattern Background cover plate die cut from teal cardstock and ink blended with Wilted Violet Distress Oxide and a little black ink on the bottom, then popped onto a white note card with foam squares. I layered over the sweater and sentiment with foam tape and added a few enamel dots to finish.

Be sure to head on over to the Pigment Craft Co. tore to check out the new release now, and. head on over to my instagram to take part in the giveaway!
