Hi folks, I’m back today to share my final mini slimline and envelope set featuring the July kit clubs from Spellbinders. Today’s card features the new July Glimmer of the Month. This is an awesome set of nesting mini slimline rectangle border plates featuring a medium dot pattern, a true staple for your Glimmer plate collection!
I also used my Large Die of the month to die cut to create this card. First off I die cut a panel of navy cardstock using one of the border dies. I then glimmered it with one of July’s Glimmer plates using Matte Gold Glimmer foil, and mounted it on a white notecard with a large border using foam tape.
I also die cut the pieces that go together to create the mini slimline envelope from matching navy cardstock. Before adhering them I glimmered a smaller rectangle in Matte Gold onto the front of the main rectangle piece (to write the address inside!) and then pieced my envelope together. To decorate my card, I stamped three of the smaller bloom images from the July Clear Stamp of the Month in embossing ink and heat embossed them in gold embossing powder, then fussy cut them out.
The sentiments are from June’s Glimmer of the month, also glimmered using Matte Gold. I arranged them, and the florals over the middle of my card with foam tape and then embellished with a few Gold Color Mix Color Essentials gems.
