Hi Everyone!

It’s my final Feature Friday with Concord & 9th and today I’m featuring the In Bloom & Just Wanted to Say stamp sets. In Bloom is possibly my most favorite from the entire release – super bold line art florals, with coordinating dies, plus stencils that can help you achieve a variety of looks.

To create my first card, I used one of the In Bloom stencils and ink blended a rainbow using C9’s inks. I used the solid floral stencil as a mask and overlaid it on white C9 cardstock. I then blended inks from bottom to top in Poppy, Marmalade, Buttercup, Sprout, Oceanside and Eggplant. When I removed the stencil, there’s a gorgeous white silhouette, which I splattered with gold shimmer pen.

I stamped the florals from the In Bloom stamp set in Mushroom ink then die cut with the coordinating dies. I used foam squares to pop them over the silhouette, then finished with the sentiment from the set, heat embossed in white on black cardstock, die cut with the coordinating flag die.

My next card once again features In Bloom – this time I used the largest stamp and heat embossed in Metallic Gold embossing powder. It’s so simple but so stunning! I then grabbed another of the coordinating stencils. This one allows you to mask off the floral and add stripes – really clever! I used Grapefruit ink which goes beautifully with the gold embossing.

The sentiment is from the new Just Wanted to Say stamp set. I heat embossed in white on black cardstock, then fussy cut it out. I mounted it on foam tape over the embossing and finished both cards with clear confetti sequins to finish!

I have absolutely LOVED guesting for C9 – I hope my projects inspired you. THere’s something about the inks and cardstock that just sing to my clean and simple side!

As always, be sure to check. out the other wonderful designs Barb and Ricky that I’m also guesting with today! On Instagram: Barb Engler @bdengler4, Ricky Burton-Romero @bromerocards
