Hi Everyone!

I’m back again today with another card that I created using the gorgeous new digital stamps from Alex Syberia. If you missed my first card, you can check it out here.

For my card today, I’m using the pretty Sketched Roses Bouquet digi, available along with all the new digis in Alex’s Etsy Store.

This time I’ve gone for much more of a vintage feel on my card, inspired by the image. I printed my image as in my earlier post, but this time, I sized it to just under the size of an A2 card front, and printed it out on Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock. I then colored in the image with a variety of Orange, Red, Yellow and Olive Green and Brown copics. Once again, I went over the image with a Micron pen (the .03 this time).

I die cut out the image with a rectangle die, and then ink blended the edges (and very slightly in the centre to cover the white) using Distress Inks in Vintage Photo and Crushed Olive with a mini ink blending tool.

I then die cut out the centre using the In A Word: Hello Cutaway die from Winnie & Walter, saving all of the pieces. I die cut it four more times from white cardstock.

I then added some white splatters using some Mr Huey’s white mist and flicked it over the image.

I too a Neenah 110lb card base, and covered it completely in dry adhesive, and then popped my colored panel over the top. I then added one of the white ‘Hello’ die cuts, and then pieced inside the offcuts from the panel Hello die cut. Using liquid glue, I stacked all of the remaining white Hellos on top. For the final stamped Hello, I offset it slightly, to enable the white to peep out from underneath.

I coated it with Nuvo Shimmer Pen in Midas Touch, and coated it in Crystal Glaze. As a finishing touch I scattered some gold sequins all over!
