Hi everyone!

I’ve not had much time for crafting recently. I went to visit Philadelphia with the family for the long weekend and came back with a rotten cold and zapped energy. But I do still have a few projects I made with the recent Catherine Pooler release that I’ve not yet shared with you!

To create this card, I first stamped the two poppy flowers onto a panel of watercolor cardstock with Midnight ink. I then stamped them again on masking paper, snipped them out and added them over the top of the panel. I then stamped the leaves and stems.

I watercolored in the image with blended Limoncello and Rouge ink for the flowers (smushed onto a craft mat with a little water) and Sage and Eucalyptus on the leaves.

I added interest with a white gel pen and outlined the images with a grey Copic. I did actually create a much busier background lots of ink spatters but decided to trim it all out and mounted it onto white with foam tape. I stamped the sentiment in Rouge and added some Midnight spatters.

I really love this stamp set – tomorrow I’ll show you another way to use it. All of the supplies I used are listed below, and exciting times, Scrapbook.com is now carrying CPD! WOOP!!
