Hi Everyone!

I’m super excited to be part of the Erin Lee Creative blog hop today, and part of her new Design Team! You should have arrived here from the wonderful Cheryl’s blog. For the next stop on the hop, and the full list of stops, please see the end of this post, along with details of PRIZES – woot woot!

I’ve created two cards for the hop, focussing on embellishing heat embossed images. My first card uses the gorgeous new Indian Background Stamp, which has a beautiful and intricate design. I heat embossed it onto black cardstock with clear embossing powder. I love the effect this creates, almost like enamel.

To create the sentiment, I first created an alcohol ink background with purples and aquas on Yupo paper. I then die cut it with the new Big Hello Love die. I then die cut it again four more times from black cardstock and adhered them all together to create a thick word sentiment, which I then glued to the embossed panel.

I die cut the Love You Forever sentiment die from the same alcohol ink background, and then carefully trimmed out the ‘You’ which I adhered directly to the card panel. I then mounted the entire panel onto a black card base.

To embellish the card, I used tiny iridescent bubbles, and adhered them onto the centre of each shape on the background.

For my second card, I stamped the circular shape from the Incredible India stamp set in embossing ink onto a panel of black cardstock. I then heat embossed it in metallic silver embossing powder. I trimmed the black panel down to 4″ x 5.25″.

I die cut a circle from the centre of the panel inside the image using a nesting circle die. I adhered acetate to the back of the panel. I then die cut the same circle from two sheets of black craft foam and adhered them to the back of the panel.

I filled the circle up with black, clear, dark blue and grey sequin/seed bead shaker mix, and then adhered the panel onto a top folding black card.

I stamped the flower from the same set onto black cardstock and heat embossed again in silver embossing powder, and fussy cut out. I popped each one onto the panel on foam squares.

I created the ‘Love’ in the same way I created the ‘you’ in the first card, die cutting it from glitter silver cardstock and pink cardstock and adhering them together – shifting slightly to create a shadow. I then adhered directly to the window. I used the same tiny iridescent bubbles to embellish at different points on the image.

I hope these cards inspire you!! Now for the prizes: Erin Lee Creative are giving away three $25 gift certificates to three lucky winners chosen from comments left across all of the blogs participating in this hop. Please leave a comment on any participating blog by Friday, March 29th, 2019. Three winners will be announced the following week on the Erin Lee Creative Blog. The more you comment, the more chances to win!

Your next stop on the hop is my wonderful friend Karen! The full hop list is below in case you get lost. And don’t forget, there is a 40% off sale going on right now too!
