It’s release day for the Adoring You Stamp of Approval Collection! The Collection goes on general release at 6pm tonight January 9th, and I’ll be back with another post then with some more inspiration ideas.

For my first card I used the Sweet Home Wreath stampset. I started by stamping the foliage from the set around the edge of a panel of Sand Dunes cardstock. I used a variety of rustic-esque colors of CPD inks including Green Tea, Over Coffee and Seafoam which stamp beautifully on darker cardstock. I then stamped the berries in Versamark and heat embossed in WOW! Brass embossing powder.
I stamped the sentiment from the set also in Brass EP. I then added some embellishments to the leaves, twigs and some dots and lines with a white gel pen. As a finishing touch I added some clear Nuvo Drops and mounted it all onto a Sand Dunes card base.
For my next card, I used the wreath from the set and stamped it directly onto a panel of premium white cardstock trimmed to 4″ x 5.25″ in Peppermint Scrub. I then stamped the shadow element in Rose Petals, and then the basic wreath in Sand Castle directly over the top.
I stamped the sentiment in the centre of the wreath in Black Jack (to keep the colors soft I avoided black). The florals from the set were stamped in Rose Petals and edged slightly in Peppermint Scrub. I then fussy cut them out and adhered them with foam squares. I also scattered some of the dots stamp around the wreath in Rose Petals and Peppermint Scrub.
I ran the Rose Petals ink pad round the edge of an A2 panel and adhered it to a white card base, and then popped the stamp panel on top with craft foam. As a finishing touch I added Nuvo Jewel drops in Limoncello scattered around the wreath, the sentiment, and the centre of the flowers.
