Hi Everyone!

There is still time to play along with the current Time Out Challenge and be in with a chance to win $20 from our sponsor Happy Little Stampers.  This week we have a Home Sweet Home photo inspiration.  I was inspired by the bright fuchsia and lime green colors in the image, which I incorporated into my card with ink blending.

To start, I die cut the Altenew Pegboard die from a panel of Bristol Smooth cardstock.  I then blended Distress Ink in Squeezed Lemonade over half of the panel starting at the edge. I used Distress Ink in Picked Raspberry and blended in from the other side of the panel, overlapping the yellow in the centre of the card.  I used thin strips of foam tape and popped the panel up onto a Neenah Solar White cardbase.

I ink blended Distress Ink in Twisted Citron onto Bristol Smooth and then die cut the Altenew Happy Birthday die from it, as well as from plain white cardstock 3 more times.  I adhered all the pieces together with spray adhesive and adherd to the centre of the card.

The sentiment was stamped onto a strip of black cardstock with Versamark ink and heat embossed in WOW! Bright White embossing powder.  I adhered it directly over the Happy Birthday and then added a coating of Glossy Accents all over the sentiment.  For a finishing touch, I found a sheet of patterned paper from my stash that reminded me of the wallpaper in the image – I die cut stars from it, popped them up on foam tape, and called it done!

Be sure to join in with us over at the Time Out Challenge page.  This week we are joined by the wonderful Ksenija (who used to be my teamie over at AAA Challenges!) as our Guest Designer.  Her cards are jaw dropping as always!

Hope you have a wonderful day all!

Jenny

Anyway, back to your card… I love how the colors in this are almost neon-like, so bright and vivid! Great card using dies, a lot of dimension happening here!
