Hi Everyone!!
Just a reminder that there is still time to join in the fun at the latest Time Out Challenge and this week we are doing Christmas with an Optional Twist of Glitter/Shimmer!!
This challenge is sponsored by Uniko who will donate a 15 £ voucher to one randomly drawn “twister” who uses glitter or shimmer in her/his project. Thank you so much to them for this generous prize!
Our guest designer this week is sooooo exciting to me – Valentyna! I have loved her work for so so long, total fangirl 🙂 Please go check out her blog for the scrumptiousness card finery she produces!!
Onto my card – OK, I admit, very not -me. But I just wanted to have a little fun – it is Christmas after all!! For my card, I used a Spellbinders Flurries die cut from some sparkly grey Bazzil cardstock which i adhered to a white Neenah Solar White cardbase.
For embellishment I used the later winter (Dec or Jan) card kit from last year by Simon Says stamp and adhered these cute penguin stickers including one guy flying off the edge. I then added sparkly enamel dots to their flippers (and head!) to look like snowballs!!. As a finishing touch I added a puffy sticker by Pink Fresh Studio.
I hope you’ll join us for this challenge, we can’t wait to see what you come up with – be sure to check out the rest of the gorgeous DT cards for more inspiration!
Jenny
This is so much fun Jenny, I really like that you used grey as the background as it makes these fun penguins really jump off the card. May not be a 'you' card but I can tell it made you smile making it and it made me smile seeing it!
This is a really fun card! Think it will bring a smile to everyone who sees it! Still are…while typing!
Awww, this is so very adorable.
Seriously Jenny – this is so adorable! I love the little penguins (mine are still in my stash – you are inspiring me to dig for them!) – and that background die is gorgeous! Fabulous card!
Cute and so fun, Jenny … that trio of little penguins is adorable! Hugs, Anita 🙂
Your card is a DELIGHT!!! Love the cutie pie penguins~
