Hi Everyone!

Don’t forget that there is still time to play along with our Time Out Challenge until next Wednesday!  Our theme is Bright, and I thought it was a perfect time to break out the Concord & 9th Rainbow Wishes set to create a clean and simple card, using watercolor stamping.

To create my card, I trimmed down an A2 panel of Canson XL cold press watercolor paper.  I put it in my MISTI and overlaid the largest rainbow arch from the stamp set and picked it up with the MISTI. I inked it up with Catherine Pooler Designs ink in Rockin’ Red and then before stamping, spritzed it with some water.  I then stamped it, holding it down for a few seconds to let the water blend the ink slightly.  I continued to stamp each of the rainbow arches in this way, using Catherine Pooler inks in Tutti Fruitti, Limoncello, Lime Rickey, Fiesta Blue, and Flirty Fuchsia.  I then left it to dry.

When the panel was dry, I overlaid the three etched arches over three of the colored arches, again using my MISTI.  I used a powder tool, then stamped the pieces in Versamark and heat embossed in gold embossing powder.  The sentiment was bent slightly and stamped in Versafine Onyx black ink.  As a finishing touch, I added some sparkling clear confetti sequins by Pretty Pink Posh. I popped the entire panel onto a Neenah Solar White 110lb card base and called it done!

Our sponsor this week is Happy Little Stampers who are offering $20 to our winner to spend in their store.  Be sure to link up over on the TO blog.

This week we are also joined by Guest Designer Anila, her cards for this challenge are super happy and of course, Bright!  Be sure to check out her blog for inspiration!

Hoping you have an awesome week!
