Hi crafty friend! Today I have two cards to share which feature the brand new Classically Becca Collection for Spellbinders. Becca Feeken’s designs are often beautifully ornate and delicate, with floral touches, and this release is no different!

My cards both feature the same color palette, and includes Spellbinders Alabaster which is a lovely pale cream color for the background. I dry embossed it with the main frame die from the new A2 Filigree Marquis die set.

I then used the new Cinch and Go Blossoms die set and cut several blooms from white cardstock, Gold Mirror cardstock and a hot pink cardstock from my stash. On the white, I added some light ink blended pink, around the edges.

I adhered the blossoms together with thin foam squares and arranged them all over the dry embossed panel. I used foam squares again for extra dimension, curling up the petals with my tool ‘n’ one. In each of the blooms I added a Crystal Mix Color Essential Gem. I also scattered a few of these about.

I mounted the entire panel onto a white notecard with craft foam, and for my sentiment I used the ‘Hello’ from the Becca Feeken Sweet Sayings Notecard Sentiments, die cut from a scrap of white cardstock I had glimmered with Yana’s Blooms Diagonal Glimmer Stripes for a different project!

For my second card, I die cut out the Marquis from the same die set from Gold Mirror Cardstock, and just the solid shadow from a pale pink cardstock and adhered them together. I die cut the main frame from the hot pink cardstock, and the solid centre of the frame from Alabaster. I then adhered all the pieces together with foam tape and liquid glue onto a white notecard.

The die set comes with tiny leaves and flowers to create a fun wreath or embellishment, so I added several hot pink flowers and Alabaster leaves, each featuring a gold centre creates with the Fashion Gold Embellishments.

I arranged them around a sentiment I had already glimmered in Gold from a prior project to anchor the flowers, and then scattered a few more gold dots for good measure!

What do you think of the hot pink paired with Alabaster? Sometimes I think bright is the way to go!
