Hi Everyone!

It’s time for a new release from Gina K Designs. And we’ve waited a little while and it was well worth it! I’m showcasing the gorgeous new Floral Wishes designed by Arjita Singh and of course its stunning!

I wanted to do a little bit of no-line watercolor, so I grabbed some cold press watercolor cardstock, and stamped the main flower image off the edge using Amalgam Ink in Warm Glow. I then colored the image with my Karin Brushmarker Pro using corally colors and greens. The amalgam ink really makes it easy to pull out the details such as the leaf stems, as it darkens where the color touches it. I also went. in when I was done with my watercolors, and added a few pencil lines here and there, adding a little depth and contrast to some of the petals and leaves.

When finished, I fussy cut around the edge, then mounted onto an A2 panel of rustic cream cardstock using foam tape. I stamped the sentiment directly onto the back panel in a coordinating ink, and then selectively splattered the panel with some water mixed with the same brush marker colors. I also threw on a little white acrylic. I love how these blended and ran together on the panel. You can see it really well in the above close up.

To finish, and add a touch of sparkle, I added a few dabs of Crystalline Drops to finish!
