Hello there crafty people! I know we’ve had so much gorgeous holiday inspiration recently but it was a welcome change to pivot to some good old love cards for my post today! I’m featuring the Love You More Collection from Spellbinders. They pair beautifully with the previously released Open House Door Base.
My first card features the previously released Open House Door Base. The new Love You More Open House Valentines feature additions to the house door to bring that love vibe, including heart string, heart door decoration, and two interchangeable floor mats. I also love the cute little envelope that you slip into the letterbox.
I die cut all of my pieces from white cardstock, pearly white cardstock and black gloss cardstock. I also ran the door die cut through my Platinum 6 with the tan mat and embossing plate to deepen the impression on it. I adhered the pieces to a candy pink background dry embossed with FSJ Diagonal Stripes embossing folder, and splattered with gold ink spray.
My second card features the Love You More sentiment dies. I used the same colors of cardstock including the pearly white and glossy black for the main sentiment, layered together. I also used some of the left over heart strings from my first card.
The background for this panel is white cardstock, dry embossed with the same embossing folder. I spritzed it with gold spray some pink metallic spray for a pop of color then adhered the die cuts with foam tape.
