Hi Everyone!
Do you ever need to just reach for a pretty little notecard to send a quick note (or put it in a packed lunch!)? The new Sweet Serenade Notecards Collection from Becca Feeken for Spellbinders can help you do just that. I have two sweet and lacy notecards to share with you today using the new collection.
I used the Scalloped Symphony Notecard set to create both cards. It contains a main lacy card panel which can be die cut with or without an optional scoreline for easy folding. I die cut two panels, one from pale blue cardstock, and one from cotton candy pink cardstock. On both, I included the score line. On the pale blue, I also die cut the circular medallion in the set (without the outline) and popped most of the pieces out.
I added a panel of white cardstock behind this window, cut from the lacy background die again and completely covered in dry adhesive.
I die cut the circular medallion again from lilac cardstock and inlaid the pieces into the blue cardstock. I also die cut the lacy square medallion (and outline die) from the same purple cardstock, as well as gold mirror cardstock, then layered them together, slightly offset, with foam tape. I mounted them onto the centre of the pink notecard with more foam tape.
The sentiments are from the Sweet Sayings Notecard Sentiments, die cut from pale blue, pink and gold mirror and layered using glue, then mounted on each notecard using thin strips of foam tape. I embellished each of the notecards with Crystal Mix Color Essentials Gems to finish.
Aren’t these sweet? Let me know what you think!
