I’m popping in tonight to let you know of a brand new set available exclusively at Scrapbook.com in collaboration with Altenew – the Shrub Rose! This is a layering stamp set, and I have a card to share that features this new set.
To create my card, I first stamped all of the images – the outlines are stamped in Altenew Jet Black ink, and then each of the layers stamped. For the leaves I used Polar Bear, Icy Water and Winter lake inks. For the roses, I used Baby Pink, Pink Pearl and Pastel Sunrise, layered. over each other. I also used SIlver Lake to stamp the outline sprigs.
For my background, I decided to use washi tape to mask off a white border on a panel of Neenah Solar white, and then ink blended Coral Berry and Cosmic Berry very lightly in from the sides to create an ink blended rectangle once the masking tape is removed.
I stamped one of the sentiments from the set in Obsidian pigment ink, directly onto the panel, lining it up under the rectangle. I then arranged my florals and leaves in the centre. with foam squares of varying dimensions. I added a few clear jewels to finish!
