Hi Everyone!

I hope you’ve all been enjoying the wonderful inspiration over the last few weeks using the January Reverse Confetti release. Today we are hosting one more blog hop showcasing some fresh inspiration using the January release.

I decided to use the Pencil & Treat Holder Confetti Cuts to create a cute little Valentine for my daughter to give to one of her friends (to leave on the doorstep!). This die can be used to hold a pencil or folded up and hold a lollypop! Super clever.

I die cut it from deep purple cardstock, and folded it up around a star lollypop to form the treat holder. I die cut the XOXO Confetti Cut layers from the same purple cardstock and from white cardstock and adhered them together then popped them on foam tape to the treat holder.

I watercolored the little dog from the Love Is In The Air stamp set using Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I stamped the image in a pale brown color on Bristol Smooth cardstock then lightly added marker colors and pulled out with a waterbrush. I added a couple of layers, and a few very light splatters to give some texture. I then die cut it out with the coordinating die and popped him up on the top of the XOXO with more foam squares.

To finish, I added a tag from the Treat Holder Confetti die cut from white and purple cardstock once more. I stamped the Happy Heart Day from Words of Love in black ink, and a small heart from the Love Is In the Air set. I adhere the tags together at an angle with a foam squares and threaded onto some iridescent ribbon to tie up the top.

Isn’t it cute! Your next stop on the hop is Kathy! The full hop list is below.
