Hi Everyone!

Today I’m sharing a card that I created using the new Spellbinders Simply Perfect Collection. I was inspired by my planner (you can see it here) as the new floral dies in the collection were just so perfect!

I started by dry embossing a panel of navy cardstock with the FSJ Bright Days embossing folder to give a subtle radial pattern in the background. I then started my die cutting – and I did a LOT of die cutting for this card! I used scraps from my scrap draw that looked like they went well together – I love using tiny little dies to use up my scraps!

I die cut the Simply Perfect Alphabet dies to spell out Miss You Lots. I die cut each letter from gold mirror cardstock once, and then white cardstock 4 times. This gives 5 layers for each letter, which I adhered together with liquid glue. I then adhered them directly to my dry embossed panel in the centre.

I then die cut my flowers – these are from the Simply Perfect Layered Blooms. There are so many different combinations you can use these in to create flowers – I die cut lots and lots with my scraps, and then just played around piecing them together. I also die cut a few flower centres using the same gold mirror cardstock to tie in with the sentiment.

I arranged the florals and leaves around the sentiment and adhered with liquid glue and foam squares. I wanted to create a semi-floral frame with those letters at the centre. I adhered the panel to a white notecard, and then embellished with gold fashion dots to finish!
