Countdown to Confetti Day 3 | Reverse Confetti

Hi Everyone!

It’s Day 3 of the countdown to Reverse Confetti’s newest release. Reverse Confetti is releasing 4 new stamp sets AND 7 (COUNT EM!) new Confetti Cuts die sets.

Today we are featuring two more stamp sets – Picture Perfect and Love Is in the Air. My card today features Picture Perfect which is a super cute little set featuring two bears chilling in a fun car watching an outdoor movie screen at a drive in – how cool is that? I totally wanted to create the full scene using these stamps.

To create my card, I wanted to fold a ‘step’ in the front to create a sort of hill or dimension for the bears. I used a panel of white cardstock, 4.25″ x 11″ which I scored in half at 5.5″ and then on one side, scored at 0.5″ from the scoreline, 3″ and 3.5″. Before folding the card, I did some ink blending with Oxide inks in Picked Raspberry and Tumbled Glass to create a night sky.

I did the ink blending down the first half of the panel, then folded in the other side to create a ‘step’ as you can see in the above picture from the side, then ink blended the base with Oxide in Pine Needles and Picked Raspberry. I unfolded the panel and added shimmer spritz to the top panel to look like a shimmery night sky. I also stamped the large sentiment onto the ‘grass’ in black ink.

I folded my panel back up again and adhered it in place with adhesive then mounted onto a notecard.

I stamped all of the images in the set with black ink and colored with Copics, using a similar set of colors to my background. I also added white gel pen highlights. I die cut them all out and arranged them with foam tape onto my card panel. I finished with a few stars stamped in metallic gold ink in the sky, and and some Glossy Accents on the hearts and glasses and car bumper to finish.
