Hi Everyone! I have a fun card to share with you today that features the Season’s Greetings Deer by Spellbinders. This die is back by popular demand – it’s super cute and you can mix and match the eyelashes, bows, hat and change up the colors, nose, antlers to get different looks.
There are also some fun florals and leaves to decorate the antlers or the Season’s Greetings sentiment in the set. Lot’s of possibilities! To create my card, I decided to go cute, and pair it with some natural materials – I’m using woodpaper and wood textured cardstock. I die cut the antlers and nose from woodgrain barck. cardstock, and the ears and nose brow from real wood paper in Birch and Cherry. I adhered them together and mounted the ears onto a panel of Spicy Yoghurt cardstock with foam adhesive then slid the antlers in behind with glue.
For the face, I adhered the long lashed eyes die cut from textured black cardstock, the cheeks from pink, and the hair ribbons in deep pink, mounted on foam tape.
To create the sentiment I stacked three of them die cut from gold glitter cardstock and black cardstock then mounted under the deer.
As a finishing touch I added a couple of the florals in coordinating deep pink and added a few gems to finish! Such a cute holiday card don’t you think?!
