It’s time for me to share my Spellbinders Glimmer of the Month project and this month’s is fall themed. It has a beautiful leaf border that, glimmered twice, creates a full A2 sized border, with enough space for a sentiment in the centre – there are two to choose from in this month’s set. I grabbed the ‘Happy Fall Y’All’ – such a fun saying!
I wanted to try and foil onto wood paper to see if it would work – and it does! I chose a light colored wood paper, that I though paired perfectly with autumnal leaves. I used my Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil machine and foiled the leaf border twice using Polished Brass glimmer got foil.
The sentiment in the centre was foiled in Copper glimmer foil. This combo went perfectly together and I thought it was so clean and simple it didn’t need much else adding. I decided to go for some clear drop embellishments in a few places to look like morning dew on the leaves.
