Hi Everyone!

It’s back to school time and for us that means first day of school ever for Ruby, and both Ruby and Hank are doing virtual school. A little challenging when you’re only 4 and can’t read yet to say the least! It was a lovely break to all grab our craft supplies one weekend and have a fun session making cards! The kids loved doing the annual cutest video hop last year, and so were really looking forward to doing it again. And this time they could do their own voiceovers!

Here’s what they created – aren’t they fab?! Hank’s is the left and Ruby’s is the right.

You can see the full (sped up) process here on my YouTube, as part of the Third Annual Cutest Video Hop. The link to the next stop on the hop is in the video description box.

Of course there are prizes on the hop! You can find all the details over on Emily Leiphart’s blog (thank you Emily for organizing it!!). There are over $1000 worth of prizes up for grabs – look at all the fab sponsors! 😮

Hank and Ruby want to also say a big thank you to Lawn Fawn and Tim Holtz/Ranger for sending them the goodies to play with! Here’s a close up of Ruby’s card using the Lawn Fawn Fox Costumes Before and After and Into the Woods patterned paper.

She definitely got creative with the coloring!

Hank used the Ranger Tim Holtz Watercolor Distress Crayon Kit to create this card. Just love that sentiment don’t you!?

We hope you enjoy the hop, a little bit of fun for everyone and hopefully for you!

  1. Two super great cards here! I like that they both did a card; I sometimes have my son make his own thank you notes 🙂
This is a fun way to start the school year off, with art! Gotta love art! I enjoyed seeing their creations! Hugs to all three of you!
