Hi Folks, I hope you’re all enjoying your weekend. I have a fun card to share today which features Flora & Fauna stamps and stencil.

To create my card, I first stamped the little bunny and his tree from the Mini Spring Bunny stamp set by Flora & Fauna. I stamped him on X-Press It cardstock with Nuvo Hybrid Ink in Black Licorice and colored with Copics. I then trimmed it out.

For my background, I used a panel of Neenah Desert cardstock, and overlaid the F&F Floral stencil. I ink blended a variety of green inks over the top and before removing the. stencil, I ran it through my die cutting machine using an embossing mat to get a raised impression. It’s hard to see in the photos. but really adds some great texture in real life.

I trimmed the panel to 3.75″ x 5″, rounded the corners and popped the panel up on foam tape. I then. popped my bunny on with foam squares and the tree with liquid glue. My sentiment is Altenew’s Hello & Hugs, die cut from gold mirror cardstock and vellum then adhered together. The sentiment is from the co-ordinating stamp set, stamped in Versafine Onyx Black and popped up on foam tape. I embellished with a few Nuvo sequins to finish.

Hope you like this effect the background – I always forget I can emboss my stencils – it really opens up the possibilities.
