It’s time for a new challenge over at the WOW! Embossing Fans Group, and this month our theme is Gold / Silver! So many fun possibilities!
For my card, I’ve actually used WOW! Metalline Flame which is a gorgeous orange red with a gold sheen to it. I’m using it on dark red cardstock, and you’ll see the effect is to highlight the gold elements much more prominently. If you tilt it in the light you still get to see that gorgeous orangey sheen as well!
I inked up the Simon Says Stamp Rebecca Lace background stamp with WOW! Embossing ink, and stamped it onto Lipstick Red cardstock. I then embossed it with Metalline Flame and trimmed it down to A2.
For my sentiment, I die cut the Pink & Main Hello die from vellum (for the outer layer) and three times from white cardstock for the main piece, which I then adhered together. I dipped the top part in embossing ink and heat embossed with Primary Apple Red embossing powder to create an ombre look then adhered to the vellum and popped onto the card. The sub-sentiment is by Miss Ink stamped in black on white cardstock.
To finish, I lightly added some Distress Ink in Black Soot around the edges to create a, and sprinkled some red sequins.
