It’s time for a new challenge over on the WOW! Embossing Fans Facebook Page and the theme for this month is Christmas! Just to spur you all on to start that stash of cards in good time!
I created a really fun one for this challenge. I used Neenah Desert Storm for my panel and double heat embossed (using my MISTI) the Stamp Market Perfectly Plaid background stamp onto it using WOW! Rockin Red embossing glitter. This is red one way, and shimmers green another! Super Christmassy!
I trimmed down the panel with a Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangle die and then popped it on a Simon Red cardstock base using GREEN craft foam (for a little surprise to those who peep in the side).
I then heat embossed the super fun Festive Llama by Pinkfresh Studio onto Canson XL watercolor cardstock using WOW! Metallic Silver Super Fine embossing powder.
I watercolored the Llama with browns, reds and greens, using my Daniel Smith tube paints and then trimmed it out and adhered it directly to my card panel.
The sentiment was also heat embossed in Metallic Silver, onto Desert Storm, and I die cut it with a tiny Deckle Edge A2 die by Honeybee Stamps before adhering it with foam tape.
