Hi Everyone!
My card today is a little different! I’m part of a CASE the Creator event that is taking place all week. I am CASE’ing Crafty Pink Pixie, aka Tasha RJ, so my card isn’t my usual style. I just love Tasha’s bright and bold colors. I noticed she often uses clean black lines for her stamping with white gel pen emebellishments, animals as a key theme, and a go-to sunburst stencil, so I chose to make that the core components of my card today. I particularly loved the colors in this card too.
To create my card, I first used the Radiating Rays stencil by My Favorite Things, and blended three different inks out from the centre (Tiara, Orange Crush and Coral Cabana by Catherine Pooler). When I lifted the stencil, I added some more Tiara directly to the centre, overlapping the clean white lines. I trimmed down the panel and adhered it to a white note card.
My image is from the Erin Lee Creative Brave Fierce Kind stamp set, which I stamped in Copic friendly black ink onto X-press It cardstock. I then coloured it with a variety of co-ordinating yellow, red and orange Copics. I even used some shimmery orange gel pen as accents on the lion’s face, and of course some white gel pen highlights.
I fussy cut out the lion and lined it with a black Memento marker before popping it up on foam tape to the centre of my panel. The sentiment was stamped directly onto the panel with black ink.
Such a fun CASE , and I urge you to go check out Tasha’s site – lots of fun and cute cards to check out!
