I’ve created a fun shaker card for today’s Time Out Challenge. I was inspired by the stars in the the quote for the challenge.
To create my card, I first started by stamping the Twinkle Twinkle Background by Taylored Expressions onto pink cardstock with pink ink (I used Rose Petals by Catherine Pooler Designs.
I then die cut the panel with the My Favorite Things Star Shaker die window. I die cut the border piece from some Tonic Studios Holo Waves cardstock. I then fitted one of the MFT Star Shaker Pouches inside it. My filler was some gorgeous purple sequins from Kindred Stamps, and backed it with some space patterned paper from an old Spellbinders card kit. I backed it onto a white cardbase, then adhered the holo die cut around the window.
The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp/CZ Design Simple Sentiments set, which I heat embossed on some purple cardstock with WOW! Metallic Silver Superfine, and popped up on foam strips. I added a last few sequins and that finished the card.
