Hi Everyone!
I’m back today with another post featuring the new Tonic Studios Dream in Color collection courtesy of the goodies I was sent by Scrapbook.com. Many of you will know how much I love the Nuvo Shimmer Powders – I’ve featured them on a few of my cards in the past. Well the new collection comes with a new color – Lilac Waterfall. It’s a beautiful pale purple color, with bursts of dark pink and blues, with shimmery mica. So pretty.
For my card, I used one of the Tonic Studios Craft Perfect A2 Watercolor cards and added some water on the centre of the cardstock and then added some of the new Nuvo Shimmer Powder Lilac Waterfall, and let it burst and spread all over. I dried it with a heat tool and then repeated it.
When dry I die cut the cardstock with the Altenew Mega Thanks, making sure I got some of the white area and some of the blue-pink bursts for texture. I then die cut it again from pale purple craft foam.
I adhered the the two Thanks together and then adhered them directly to a white note card. I also heat embossed a sentiment from the corresponding Altenew Mega Greetings Thanks set in white on black cardstock, and popped it up on black fun foam over the Thanks.
As a finishing touch, I added a scattering of the new Nuvo Pure Sheen Sequins in Silver Rain. These sequins are AMAZING. They are silver with shots of holographic material through them – wow absolutely gorgeous. They really catch the light and I think I’ll be using them on literally every card from hereonin!
