Hi Everyone!

I’m swinging by to show you two cards that I created with the just released Catherine Pooler Designs Adoring You Stamp of Approval Collection!  They both use the The Key Stamp set from the Collection and the add-on co-ordinating dies.

I wanted to create an elegant card that would be suitable for a wedding anniversary – the result was the silver card.  I couldn’t resist doing another one in gold to co-ordinate!

For the first card,  I used three of the key dies on their own and die cut them from silver mirror card stock.  I then tied them all together on a piece of silver ribbon I had in my stash – I simply threaded a loop through the tops. I then took a panel of CPD Premium White cardstock and edged it with a Versamark ink pad and heat embossed in WOW! Metallic Silver embossing powder.

I stamped the sentiment on the panel in Midnight Black ink and the lock from the stampset in Versamark, heat embossed with the WOW! Silver EP.  I then adhered the keys, arranged slightly in a ‘key bunch’ with liquid glue, and then pulled the ribbon up and behind the panel and secured with some tape.  I then popped the entire panel onto a white notecard with double sided tape.

To finish I added Clear Wink of Stella and Nuvo Crystal Glaze over the lock to add shine, and a few drops of Nuvo in Morning Dew and White Blizzard.

For my second card I stamped all of the locks from The Key Stamp set in Versamark ink and heat embossed them in WOW! Gold Metallic EP. I then die cut them with the add-on co-ordinating dies.

I arranged them onto a white notecard, and adhered them with foam squares.  I then stamped the sentiment from the set (LOVE THIS SENTIMENT!!) in Midnight ink.  I also stamped a key from the set in Versamark and heat embossed in the WOW! Metallic Gold EP.

As before, I added Clear Wink of Stella and Nuvo Crystal Glaze over the top of the locks – I love how these look! They’re so pretty in real life, and adding the glaze over the metallic EP makes it look almost like enamel.  I also scattered a few Nuvo Drops in Morning Dew and White Blizzard to finish.

You can find the links to all the supplies I used in the description below – have a wonderful weekend!
